엔비디아가 9월 28일 AI 에이전트용 '오픈 에이전트 안전 플랫폼'을 공개했습니다. AI 에이전트가 할 수 있는 일을 통제하는 오픈소스 소프트웨어 OpenShell과 레퍼런스 시스템 설계 'NVIDIA Sentry'를 묶은 것으로, 소프트웨어부터 하드웨어·컴퓨팅·로봇 시스템까지 관리한다는 설명입니다.
엔비디아는 이 플랫폼으로 물리 시스템에 안전장치를 넣고 있는 로봇 기업으로 휴머노이드 기업 피규어(Figure), 로봇 파운데이션 모델 기업 스킬드AI(Skild AI), 산업 설비 점검 로봇 기업 게코로보틱스를 꼽았습니다. 게코는 미 해군이 쓰는 코모도(Komodo) 로봇 등에 OpenShell로 실행 제한을 걸고 있다고 따로 밝혔습니다.
