LG Electronics traces its origins to Goldstar Co., Ltd., established in 1958, and is headquartered at LG Twin Towers on Yeoui-daero in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. Its shares trade on the Korea Exchange under code 066570; LG Corp. held 32% of the shares at the end of 2025. The company reports four business units: Home Appliance Solutions, Media Entertainment Solutions, Vehicle Solutions and Eco Solutions. In the second quarter of 2026 it reported consolidated revenue of KRW 23.83 trillion and operating profit of KRW 1.58 trillion, both second-quarter records, with business-to-business sales accounting for 36% of revenue.
