Kepler Robotics

Shanghai Kepler Robotics was established on 15 August 2023 and is based in Shanghai's Pudong New Area, according to a profile published by its shareholder Keli Sensing Technology. Its Forerunner range includes the K1, K2, S1 and D1, driven by the in-house KEPLER GEAR actuator rated at 8,000 N of thrust. The Forerunner K2, unveiled in October 2024, has 52 degrees of freedom, hands with 11 degrees of freedom each and up to 96 tactile contact points per fingertip, a 15 kg payload per hand and a 2.33 kWh battery for eight hours of operation. The company said the K2 was being tested at customer sites in manufacturing, warehousing and logistics, hazardous work and research and education. Keli's profile states that Kepler completed a Pre-A round on 23 April 2025.
