EngineAI
Shenzhen humanoid maker behind the PM01 and T800 that builds its own joints and is scaling toward 10,000-unit output
EngineAI (众擎机器人) was set up in Shenzhen in October 2023 by a team that, according to the company, came out of some of China's earliest groups working on legged robots and bringing them to market. Its range covers the PM01, SE01, SA01, S2, JS01 and T800 humanoid lines for research, education and industrial work, and it develops its joints in-house. On 10 April 2026 the company announced a US$200 million Series B co-led by Henan Investment Group's Huirong Fund, which had also led its A2 round, and Luxshare Precision, with new investors and existing shareholders following on. EngineAI said the round took its valuation above RMB 10 billion and that the money would fund R&D, more production capacity, new deployment scenarios and partner ecosystems. On 22 May 2026 the first T800 robots came off the line at a 12,000 square metre base in Honghualing, Shenzhen, which the company says can complete one humanoid every 15 minutes as it works toward capacity on the scale of 10,000 units. A second line of that size is planned in Zhengzhou.
