AgiBot
Shanghai embodied AI company building humanoid, wheeled and quadruped robots, with a holding platform that controls STAR-listed Swancor
AgiBot (Zhiyuan Robotics) was set up in February 2023 in Shanghai's Lingang New Area by Peng Zhihui, according to the company. Its range covers the A-series full-size humanoids, the X-series agile robots, the Genie G-series wheeled embodied robots and the D1 quadrupeds, sold alongside OmniHand dexterous hands, VR teleoperation kits and the AgiBot World dataset. The company says it has rolled out its 15,000th general-purpose humanoid robot. AgiBot lists a run of financings on its own site, including a round closed on 3 September 2024 with Muhua Ventures, iSoftStone, LCVPF Holdco, Muhua Capital and CAS Star, and a strategic investment on 1 August 2025 co-led by LG Electronics and Mirae Asset. Zhiyuan Hengyue, a holding platform set up by AgiBot and its core management, held 63.62% of Shanghai STAR Market-listed Swancor Advanced Materials (688585) with its concerted parties after a tender offer that closed in October 2025.
