Genesis AI
Physical-AI lab with bases in Palo Alto and Paris that trains a general robotics foundation model on in-house simulation data
Genesis AI describes itself as a global physical-AI research lab and full-stack robotics company, with head offices in Palo Alto and Paris; its website is run by the French company Genesis AI SAS. Its founding team comes from Mistral AI, Nvidia and universities including CMU, MIT, UMD, Stanford and Columbia, according to an announcement published by investor Bpifrance. The company is building a universal foundation model for robots and a horizontal platform for robotics AI, and it trains on high-quality synthetic data generated by a simulation platform developed entirely in-house. It launched officially on 30 June 2025 with US$105 million in funding led by Eclipse and Khosla Ventures, with Bpifrance, HSG, Eric Schmidt and Xavier Niel also investing. Its first product, Eno, is taking waitlist sign-ups for commercial and home use, and Genesis AI says it plans targeted customer deployments by the end of 2026.
