AeiROBOT
Ansan-based developer of the ALICE humanoid robots for factories, shipyards and service venues.
AeiROBOT was incorporated in April 2018 and is based at the business incubator on Hanyang University's ERICA campus in Ansan, according to its company history. It builds humanoid hardware and software in house, including its own linear actuators, walking control and AI-based autonomy, and sells the ALICE humanoid line alongside the AIMY welcome robot and the EDIE character robot. ALICE M1, a wheeled mobile humanoid for manufacturing that opened for pre-orders in October 2025, has 31 degrees of freedom, a waist that adjusts its working height between 1.3 and 1.8 metres, stereo cameras, 3D LiDAR and an NVIDIA AGX Orin compute module, the company says. Its history lists a seed round in May 2024, a Series A in July 2025 and regulatory sandbox approval in September 2025 to trial an AI-equipped bipedal humanoid at industrial sites. In July 2026 the company reported that ALICE 5 had been demonstrated at HD Korea Shipbuilding & Offshore Engineering to test fire response and the handling of tactical equipment.
