About

Standard Bots builds industrial robot arms in Glen Cove, New York, and pairs them with software that lets operators teach tasks by demonstration instead of writing code. Its arms are used for machining, welding, palletizing, grinding, fastening and assembly, and the company says it is expanding its Glen Cove facility to 70,000 square feet with the aim of producing its robots entirely in the US by 2027. In July 2024 it raised a $63 million Series B led by General Catalyst. In June 2026 it announced a $200 million Series C led by RoboStrategy at a $1 billion valuation, without saying whether that figure is pre-money or post-money.
