About

NAVER LABS is the research and development subsidiary charged with NAVER's future technologies, according to its company profile, and works across robotics and physical AI, vision and spatial AI, platforms and digital twins. Its listed address is NAVER's second headquarters building, 1784, in Bundang, Seongnam, which doubles as a testbed where about 100 service robots handle parcel, cafe, lunch box and convenience store deliveries. The robot line includes the AROUND autonomous service robot platform, the cloud-connected Rookie robots deployed at 1784 and AMBIDEX, a wire-driven dual-arm robot designed to work safely next to people. For NAVER's Gak Sejong data center the company has built SeRo, an asset management robot with millimetre-level positioning, GaRo, an autonomous transport robot rated for loads up to 400 kg, and the ALT-B autonomous shuttle. It also runs a research centre in Meylan, France, NAVER LABS Europe.
