About

FieldAI, based in Irvine, California, develops Field Foundation Models (FFMs), physics-first AI models built from the ground up to cope with uncertainty, risk and the physical limits of real sites. The company says the models already run on quadrupeds, humanoids, wheeled robots and passenger-scale vehicles, with deployments for large companies in construction, energy, manufacturing, urban delivery and inspection in Japan, Europe and the US. On 20 August 2025 FieldAI, led by founder and chief executive Ali Agha, announced it had raised $405 million in two consecutive rounds from investors including Bezos Expeditions, BHP Ventures, Canaan Partners, Emerson Collective, Intel Capital, Khosla Ventures, NVIDIA's NVentures, Prysm and Temasek. Its 2026 announcements cover a security robotics partnership with Certis, a partnership with Boston Dynamics, work with NVIDIA on industrial customers and a collaboration with Caterpillar.
