Agile Robots SE was founded in Munich in 2018 and combines sensor technology, force-controlled robots and artificial intelligence, with headquarters in Munich and Beijing. Its products include the Diana robot arm, the AgileCore operating system, a five-finger hand and mobile platforms aimed at manufacturing, logistics and healthcare. After a pre-A round in 2019 and a Series A in the eight-figure range in 2020, it completed a US$220 million Series C led by SoftBank Vision Fund 2 in September 2021. In 2026 it closed its acquisition of thyssenkrupp Automation Engineering and announced partnerships with Google DeepMind and Hitachi.
